About

I began a special relationship with clothes as an adolescent girl much like many other girls entering their teen years.  I enjoyed shopping, putting outfits together, and looking forward to what I could create through my clothes.  But to be honest, I wouldn't have labeled myself a fashionista nor would I now.  To this day,  I don't have a strong hunger and desire to be heavily engulfed in the most recent trends and don't feel the need to buy up what's walking down the runway.

It’s the impact of clothes on the wearer in everyday life that has been the driving force of my passion for fashion for over 20 years.  For many of us, especially women,  our clothes emote strong emotions, too often emotions of anxiety, disappointment, frustration, discomfort, and hopelessness.  On the contrary, I believe our clothes should and can absolutely be a means to create feelings of security, confidence, purpose, joy, and aspiration. I have turned to my clothes and wardrobe to help me get through some of my toughest times and darkest days.  Because of my strong belief that fashion is for everyone, I am honored to volunteer with Runway of Dreams which is a non-profit organization that works toward a future of inclusion, acceptance, and opportunity in the fashion industry.

I spent over 20 years working in retail clothing and fashion. I worked my way up from managing small local New Jersey boutiques to managing a high-end flagship store in the Meatpacking District Manhattan. I had the privilege to assist, shop for, and style actors, comedians, accountants, lawyers, teachers, students, and tourists from all over the world. In addition to my 20 years of retail fashion experience skills, I earned a certificate of image consulting from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC in 2022.  My experience with clients from many cultural backgrounds, professional careers, ages, lifestyles, ambitions, and goals combined with my passion for creating a healthy and fulfilling relationship with clothes has allowed me to help numerous women achieve their personal and professional goals.
